How did you come up with your business idea?

I love to bake and to try out many dessert recipes. It started as a hobby and then it became a business for me after my husband passed away in Oct 2013. At that time, I decided to find a job with flexible time so that I still have time for my two children; and around that time a good neighbour of mine who was an ex-baker of supplier for famous bakery gave me her cookies recipe. I started to try that recipes and made some changes and variations in techniques and ingredients. I was so grateful and believe it was really a God-given opportunity for me.

What advice do you have for someone who wanted to start her own business?

Well, as cliché as it might sound, the words: never ever give up, impossible is nothing, and put your faith to God are the best advice that I can give to anyone who wants to start their own business. Don’t be afraid to try, you will never know how far you can go unless you take that first step.
